Subject: Breath of Corruption

I have been rereading a lot of my cards and discovering some errors in my interpretation of them so wanted to get some clarification on Breath of Corruption. The first part of the wording says "models hit suffer a POW 12 corrosion damage roll" and under the tactical tips in the faction book it says "Affected models do not also suffer blast damage".
This leads me to believe that ALL models under the AOE take the full POW 12 hit rather than the usual, model hit takes POW 12, all others under the AOE take a POW 6 blast damage.
Is this correct?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, Breath is awesome, it kills casters.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Also, a model immune to blast damage would not be immune to Breath.

That would be correct. That means you can run a McThrall into B2B with an enemy caster, and hit the thrall in the back easily and can ignore the caster's DEF.
In addition, I believe if you want to boost damage, you do so on each damage roll individually.

If you are within 4" of an enemy when you cast Breath of Corruption at them you CANNOT miss, you will never scatter more than 2" so the template will still hit the model you were attempting to hit. Well worth remembering.

^It's a caster kill recipe.
Skrulnik's suggestion is better vs. units that have spell ward (ex. doom reavers) or souless escorts and the like.
