Hi, just making sure:

A wreck is a vehicle destroyed by a "6" on the glancing hit table and "4" and "5" on the penetrating hits table plus the "4" on the Ordnance hits table (Vehicle Destroyed), right? Such a "wreck" gives any models in or behind it a 4+ cover save.

But how about exploded vehicles (as well as annihilated ones), result "6" on penetrating hits and "5"  (and "6") on Ordnance hits. Such vehicles should be removed and be replace by some scattered wreckage which count as difficult terrain.

Do they give a 4+ cover save or only a 5+..?

Edit: Nevermind, I found it (it´s 4+ by the way).

I used to play that when a vehicle exploded or was annihlated it left a gaping crater, and that when people hid in the crater it gave them a cover save.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail.

Just to clarify on pg21 BRB - both wrecked vehicles, and wreckage is a 4+ cover save, so are craters.
