Are these rules legal to use? Or are they just valid until theunit is shown in an IA book of some kind?

Basically i intend on using a Tomb Stalker for my 'Crons, using the experimental rules on the FW site. If/when the unit appears in a codex/IA will the experimental rule sbe made null and void? Also, do the later "official" rules ever differ that much?

As Forgeworld doesn't define what "Experimental Rules" entails, you have to work it out with your playing group.

Using some common sense would indicate that any "official" version would supersede and invalidate the experimental one upon release.

In any case, Imperial Armour is an official expansion and will be played as such, ie player agreement.

Official versions of the rules will supersede the experimental just as new rules supersede old. Sometimes they change considerably. It's worth picking up the IA Apoc books - they're a lot cheaper than the campaign books and are purely rules. They also have a list at the back detailing which books contain the most up-to-date rules for each unit. The Tomb Stalker is not listed yet though since it has yet to be published.
