With the hopefully soon release of Hits_the_spot's TS kits with chapterhouse, I have decided to start a Blood Ravens army **BUT**, you guaess it, TS. I was looking at blood ravens, and was think Red Gore armour, with Kommando Khaki shoulders (with a dheneb stone basecoat to stop me clawing my eyes out). I cant help but feel it's lacking, and I am not sure what colour to wash the armour in, mechrite red or badab black. Your views are appreciated!

Just a thought, what about a base coat mecrite red, highlight coat of red gore and then a wash of baal red wash followed by a hard line of blood red?

Sorry, I meant a wash of baal red. I may do that, but I am not a big fan of hard highlights, I like the whole 'realistic look', admittedly he is an 8 foot tall super soldier in power armour in the 41st millenium, so maybe my claims are void. I may basecoat in mechrite red actually, as I am worried about how well the Red Gore with cover the black undercoat.

I'm not a big fan of hardline highlighting myself, i just thought of a standard technique, but maybe from a hardline area and then feather out from that line with bloodred maybe? I dunno i've never done them myself lol!
