Hey,
Another simple question. I fear I already know the answer, but it's worth a punt.
If I'm using a Lifta Droppa, can I drop the target vehicle off the table? Lash specifically says you can't, but there's no mention of it here.

There is no permission to move models off the table; you can only do so when falling back.

Nothing says I can't.

Nothing says I cant smash your models with a hammer and claim I win
40k is a game based on teling you what you CAN do, often called a "permissive" system.
Can you find a rule thgat lets you drop models of f the table? If you cannot, you cannot do it. It's that simple.

I find one telling me I can place the model 24" in the line shown by the arrow on the Scatter Die. I don't see one that says that that position can't be off the table.

BRB FAQ stating exactly what I had just said wrote:Q: Can models move off the table? (p11)
A: Not unless a rule or the mission being played clearly specify that they can. All good wargamers know that the edge of the table is the end of the world!
Does your rule state you can move it off the table? No? Shock, guess that means you cant

It says I can move it. Moving it off the table... comes under the sub-heading of moving it.
Guess that means I can.

What part of "specify" are you finding difficult to understand in the FAQ quote?
Does the lifta droppa STATE it can move the unit off the table? No.
Guess that means you cant. Continue arguing if you want, but you aren't right and won't be.
