chatting with a friend the other day, he said he'd recently been talking with the new events guys at warhammer world. supposedly from autumn winter warhammer is going to be 2400pt rather than 2000pt. wondering if anyone else has heard about this or are gw just throwing it out there to get feedback

Well i know that the 40k throne of skulls is increasing to 1750 from 1500, so the change to warhammer points wouldnt surprise me.

Last I heard (from my local GW manager) is that the normal points limit for all GW fantasy and 40k tournaments (excluding double tournies etc) is changing. The aforementioned 1500 to 1750 for 40k and 2000 to 2500 for Fantasy.

2400 it is then, 1750 for 40k.

So because they already posted the rules packet for the Las Vegas TOS, think they will not change the points cost? At least next year we can expect 1750...

Good question on the US side.

The big changes are mostly on the UK side, where GW's been using the 1500/2000 points sizes for 40k & WH very consistently for years.
