You can represent gore/gibs with some red paint mixed with slightly watered pva and a little sand. The pva makes the gore stand proud of the surface making it look like stuff stuck to blades etc rather than just colouring them red.

Experiment a bit to get the right mixture.

A coat of gloss varnish/ardcoat will make it look shiny/wet, particularly if the rest of the model has a matt finish.

Try using a gloss medium mixed with the paint. It imparts a glossy property to dried paints. You can pick it up from most online retailers.

Labyrinth was awesome.

Not sure bout most your Questions, but for the blood,

I just followed a tutorial (sorry cant remember where it was ) but you just stipple Tamiya Clear Red (which is a tacky consistancy) on where you want the blood, then mix the Clear red with some badab black wash to get a darker tone then apply that in few places over original layer, then if you stipple again before both are dry you get a sticky look, and drys with a gud shine, comes out bit like this ork i did abit ago,

and BlacksunArtstudio‬‏ on you tube did a good how to make driping blood tutorial with UHU glue,

Hope that helps

Red ink imo also works well for blood, as it flows making it look more natural, and is shiny once dried, but not as shiny to look unrealaistic which PVA can sometimes do.
