Here are a few pics of my Crimson Fists army.

i am thinking of selling them so any opinions from people who have sold minis would be much appreciated.

thanks very much. i need to get a stand so i can fit 10 man squads in the same picture.

I'm hoping decent pics will allow me to get a decent price for them on ebay when i come to sell them in the near future.

As well as whats posted on here i have a Predator with magnetised sponsons, 2 x 10 man tactical squads, a command squad (that's the banner guy shown above comes from), a Captain, Jump pack Chaplain, 10 man Assault squad, a 5 man Termie squad and a 10 man custom built sternguard squad. Oh, and 2 drop pods and a razor back.

The whoel army has the correct (i think) armour markings as well as Company markings (5th Company = black shoulder trim)

The freehand on the banner is awesome! But the fists could use a wash, except from that they're very nice.

Yeah, the banner picture came out a bti too dark (accientalyl hit yes to auto-adjust when i uploaded it). That is the only time i have attamepted free hand, came out ok btu it's not somethgin i'll be trygin again any time soon!

the fists were all painted in mechrite red, then a Ball red wash, then blood red dry brush.

That's nearly everythgin posted. Just the 10 man squads to do (need to work out hwo to fit all 10 into one pic), and a few mor esingle models that need croppign before they are posted.

The red needs some shading, as does the blue by the looks of things...

Love the Fist on the tank!

The fist was part of the old GW Imperial/Crimson Fist icon pack.

For some reason the drybrushing isn't showing up that well. The bllue is Necron Abyss, blue Wash, Enchanted Blue dry brush. The red is Mechrite, red wash, Blood Red drybrush.

Use a delvan mud wash on the red, brings out a better shade.
And it is most likely the flash - that I think has been used on these pics, if not the its just the light source angle - that is meaning you lose the highlights.

Hmmm, didn't use a flash. i have just started using a photo tent and a desklamp on both sides (btoh with 100w equivilant bulbs in). Only just started using a proper photo setup so it's still trial and error.


Never though of using the brown wash to bring out the red better! Thansk for the hint.

Nice work on the base for Kantor. I also really like all the details and features on your snipers. Nice work!
