So, I didn't know where to put this specifically, but I figured it would fit under "Painting and Modeling"

I recently purchased an Ork Warbuggy (need some speed in my army) and started putting it together as soon as I got home. Unfortunately, the sprue was missing a piece and I couldn't complete the engine that fits on the back of the buggy. As far as I know, the piece was never there, as I didn't pull it off the sprue and I didn't notice any loose pieces falling out of the box when i opened it. I tried Bitz Barn, but they did not have any warbuggy bitz to sell. I also emailed GamesWorkshop about it, but haven't heard back from them yet. I was just wondering if anyone else had any ideas on how to go about getting this single bit.

It is #15 on the sprue, for those who have the warbuggy and remember the numbering when they put it together.

Don't worry, Games Workshop will almost certainly get back to you in a few days time and send you out a brand new Warbuggy model.

These threads pop up every now and again and in every example I've seen GW customer service saves the day.

I figured they would get back to me at some point, but wasn't sure what they would say so I was just considering that I would need to buy a replacement bit.

If they do send a new buggy, then i certainly won't look a gift horse in the mouth!

They might not replace the entire thing, but just the frame with the one part, in which case, do be very specific in that case.

What they said. I had bought a Baneblade and I got 2 left side hulls. Called them up, and they sent me an entire new Baneblade kit! Still, was missing a right side, so I went to a bitz retailer for that. Still, bought the 1st Baneblade on e-bay, paid $65 for it, and paid $14 for the extra sprue with the correct side. You can't beat 2 Baneblades for $79 .

Now if it is a base, they won't send you a whole kit, of course. They'll just send you the extra parts. You can't beat GW customer service.

I reciently picked up a box of Lootas from my FLGS and one of the shoulder mount racks were missing from the sprue.
Not only did GW send his a replacement box of Lootas to give me, he also let me keep the "bad" box for free.

Well, I've had real MISERABLE service inside their store. For several years now. Only reason I think its still open is because their manager has their head screwed on right, and is actually a really friendly approachable guy that.... well... doesn't have the rank smell of nerd about him. The other guys are either inept with handling customers and just dont care, or so arrogant about how you play that I've since refused to go back to that store again. That being said, yes, the GW customer service center is beyond amazing.
