I am trying to model a Scout Sergent with a PF, and a combi melta.

I have all the bits to make it, but I'm hung up on fitting a PF to the scout.

Can anyone help?

I just cut the fist off where it meets the elbow.
Then take a scout arm and do the same to the forearm.
Then I just glue the pieces together how I want them.

Best part about this method is that it doesn't matter where the fist comes from.

Cabling can be replaced with guitar string cut to length or electronics hook-up wire (same size hole, hook-up wire is easier to cut).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Inside that little light in your refridgerator

The above is pretty much golden. However, it'd be pretty awesome if you put some sort of powered exo-skeleton over the PF arm.

Looking forward to the pics

If you haven't already done the above, I have a suggestion. You should look into trying to find an old RT Power Fist. They're smaller, and would fit a Scout more convincingly.

Process is the same as above.

I think some Imperial Guard models have smaller power fists as well. They may be too small, but its worth looking at since I think they are plastic and would be easy to work with

I would recommend taking a look at the Cadian command squad. It is fairly small but it could be made to look like bionics, which could look cool...

I converted one using an AOBR termie's fist cut at the elbow. Pinned it to the elbow of a CC/BP scout, added a little GS and repositioned the cable to run to the scout's backpack with a little GS connector. Looks like it was made that way.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

The arm itself is the "grenade throwing" arm from the regular old Cadian Infantry boxed set.

The Fist comes from the newer Cadian Command Squad box.

Separate the fist from the rest of the arm. Eyeball it next to the grenade arm, and cut appropriately.
