I've read a couple army lists and posts about the new orcs and goblins and I've been hearing a lot of people say things like theres no point to black orcs now and seeing a certain problem in some of the lists so I just thought I should point this out.

According to the main rulebook you can only take equipment on a character that they could have taken anyway, so for savage orcs you can't give them magic armor, (except perhaprs for helmets, can anyone confirm that? and shields.) regular orcs only light armor and black orcs only heavy armor.

I haven't read the rules on savage orcs specifically, but if you can take armor, you can take magic armor of any flavor. Magic armor no longer has the restriction that you have to have a mundane option in order for a magic item(in 7th edition if you couldn't take a shield you couldn't take an Enchanted shield, for example).

Regular Orc bosses can take magic heavy armor, not sure on savage orc bosses.

I can deny everything you just said actually.
By pointing out that the rule for not being able to wear magic armors (called magical interference and found at the start of the magic items section) only applies to wizards big bosses ain't wizards. I do bieleve savages have a special rule to that effect (forbidding them to wear armor) but i might be wrong.
