Still can't figure the full rule set for DC Dreads weapon. Is it the full Lighting claw package or is it just the re-roll the wound part because it keeps slaughtering my Terminators in combat

Two Blood Talons count as a pair of lightning claws(rerolling to wound), and any unsaved wound will cause it to attack again.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

Do you actually get an armour save against the attacks

Lightning CLAWS.
Power weapon.

NO armour save.
Only invulnerable.

They are the Blood Angel blenderiser claws.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

A dread equipped with a pair of Blood Talons (follow the rules for Lightning Claws) will ignore armour saves (power weapon), benefit from an additional attack (two of the same single-handed special close combat weapons), reroll 'to wound' (Lightning Claws), and generate an extra attack for each wound they inflict (pair of Blood Talons).

You don't need a pair to re-roll failed wounds, but you need a pair to get the extra attack, and to create additional attacks from unsaved wounds.

On Dakka he was Eldanar. In our area, he was Lee. R.I.P., Lee Guthrie.
