Out of all the MCs in the game which is the best for their army?

Dreadknight is shaping up to be pretty brutal.

Tyrannofex and Tervigon are pretty scary too.

Tervigon is probably the most effective and feared...
Though GK may change all that.

The Tervigon is an excellent support MC, the Trygon is a pretty good CC monster. Most of the Daemons MC's are pretty solid. CSM DP's are decent primarily because of how cheap they are.

I have to agree with Tervigon as a support monster being the best but the scariest close combat i can think of besides the swarmlord is a nurgle deamon prince with noxious touch from CD...

Out of Eldar the answer is obviously the Avatar over the Wraithlord.

Nightbringer is hefty. excellent at killing anything. other then things that can actually wound it and inflict instant death

i agree with GAMZA that the nightbringer is the best MC but depending on the stats for the dreadknight things could change

The Greater Daemon that you can summon in the CSM codex is worth the pts for it.

Night bringer fails...No one is actually dumb enough to get close to that thing but if it does manage to fight its a whole mess of "Ok im dead now". And i actually Read about the dreadknight. Power wise its pretty stupid It auto passes its force weapon text and inflicts instant death to things that have eternal warrior. But its toughness 6 with 4 wounds and only a 5+ invun. In my oppinion, dangerous but killable...unless deamons are facing it. Then its over, they cant touch that thing!

The Avatar is the best MC imo. Between it's stats, weapon, and abilities it's one of the more cost-efficient MCs in the game. Plus, it's actually small enough to conceivably get a cover save half the time. Wraithlords arn't too shabby either, the only things who can run into combat with Space Marines and be near-immune to their rifle butts.

that can be said about any MC thats moves 6 inches haha.

and I wonder what the initiative of that Dreadknight will be. that can decide who wins in a battle with it.

On a more serious note: CSM DPs. They heped create the transports-everywhere metagame!

I 4... And strikes in combat order if you give it the daemon hammer (which is a force thunder hammer) at str 10. Otherwise you can give it a weapon that rerolls all to hit, to wound and ap rolls. It does NOT auto pass the weapon text. However, the nemesis weapons (all of them, so even "tactical" grey knights one) force psykers and daemons to make a leadership test and if they fail they are removed as a casualty, regardless of eternal warrior. This does not involve any roll on the GK side, only inflicting unsaved wounds. Notice that this thing takes effect at the end of the assault phase so the enemy can strike back before dying.

Oh and it has Jump infantry for 75 points and can move 30 inches once per game. Its pretty beasty..And i've messed Mephy up more times then i can count.

CSM Nurgle and Slaanesh princes are both pretty awesome.

In terms of raw force projection, I'd go with the Nightbringer.

For the points, I have to agree with a CSM DP.
