plasma pistols may be a bit worthless, but, that is my opinion. i only run a plasma pistol with my plasma vets in a chimera, with carapace armour.
i like the list, but, not sure why the command squad. seems like they are just there for a hq choice. maybe run some lord commissars w/ power fist along with your vets. the stuborn helps out alot.
if i was going to run a HQ in vet heavy: HQ w/ lascannon, sniper rifle x2, MoO. add cammo cloaks.

Yea i see what your getting at, but i'm trying to make his heavy offense so it's his two troops and two hqs can do drive bys ALSO, the the two HQ are there for the astropath to add +2 to deepstrikes from storm troopers and vendettas

If you read the FAQ's on codex's Gw stated that multiple regimental advisors don't stack bonuses the second 1 is a back up incase the first 1 dies

astropath doesn't stack, and i feel that plasma pistols have a different role than meltagun. Power weapons tend to be rather useless because combat is the last place you want your units unless youre a blob. Try dropping all the Power weapons and some of the plasma pistols and get a vet squad with 3x plasma guns and then you can justify taking a plasam pistol, which adds to that units role. Not sure why you have so many points dumped into storm troopers, I think dropping 2 squads of them to buy another melta vet squad would be useful. Trimming the fat a bit will let you add a fair bit of stuff to the list.
Just my thoughts, hope it helps!

well what do you guys suggest then for a second hq? and the plasma pistol on the sergeants is to add an extra gun with a kick to it for the drive-by style. I understand the wasted points in PW. And the reason for all the deepstrikes is for a sure-fire way of getting the oppostion from the back while they shoot at the chimeras moving towards them. Now understand i am helping my friend make an IG list and I don't play Ig, I play jetbike eldar.

couldn't think of any other thing to add. Now that i did this quick, if i take out the pws, auto cannons, and plasma pistols. IT takes out about 120 pts, and the issue i see with a lord commisar is that i would also be trading it out for 4 melta guns. so lets say i take out one more astropath, i got a spare 150 pts.

Commander doesn't need plasma pistol and power weap; meltas are for busting tanks so power weap is useless and you want to stay in the tank as long as possible.
Lose the autocannon and power weap in the Vet squads as if you move to get those meltas into range you cannot fire the heavy weap or stay static and the meltas won't get into range. You don't need the power weap as T3 5+ 10 guys want to stay in the tank at all times and if you get into combat you will die. Bad weapon synergy here, easily fixable, and get more troops!
You don't need the Storm Troopers and you don't need three Vendettas. Add some Manticores or even Leman Russes for heavy lifting.
This list is 50 points over so you'll have to lose some wargear or try something slightly different like Leman Russes as mentioned:

All tanks have hull heavy flamers. To get it to 1,500 switch Manticores to Leman Russes shaving off 20 points. Then ditch two plasmas from the CCS shaving off another 30 points making it 1,500 on the nail.

Yea i see what you getting at, i was trying to make him a heavy deep strike list since he bought three valkyeiries. What if I took out all the Pw, PP, melta bombs, and astro path, and autocannons and add a medusa with bastion siege upgrade and closed compartment upgrade?

How can you make him a deep strike heavy list when 5 units deep strike? Add in the 2d6" scatter and massive foot print for the Vendettas. Deep striking Vendettas is a bad idea as you want their fire power on the table turn 1.
Medusas are pretty cool and bastion breacher shells are evil against vehicles, the small blast is particularly cool because if it scatters it will probably still hit due to the smaller foot print.
