Im working towards a 2k army and would like to use a lvl 4 Sorceror Lord of Tz (disc), Exalted BSB, and either a choppy Exalted/Lord.

I know I can only use one Talisman of Preservation (with MoTz) and wondering on whom to put it on. The mage out of cover for protection or my combat BSB?

Im thinking to give the BSB armour based protection and with a unit champ, keep him at the back. Not really the chaos way, but the item will only leave me with 5 points to spend, whereas the sorceror will still get 55.

Im also liking a Lord on jugger, with that 1+ 3+ setup and a killer weapon, heh, also, on foot with that sword that adds attacks per unit in base contact. 8+ attacks^^

Just wanted to start a discussion on how you run the bosses around 2k.

Your combat lord will probably only need a 4+ ward (5+ WS plus MoTz) as he is harder to kill in combat than a wizard on disk is to shooting.

How are you keeping the BSB "at the back"? If there is space, he HAS to deploy on the front. So unless you're chosen death starring at 5 wide with 2 other characters to your BSB the BSB WILL be in the front rank.

Well what i meant was to issue and accept challenges with unit champs.

But yeah, I think ill lean towards the 3+ on sorc, 4+ on combat lord and get as good as possible armour save on the BSB.
