Subject: Models for Nurgle demons?

Hi everybody,
Iwould like to start a small Death Guard collection. So far I ordered some chaos terminators and chaos marinesplus the forgeworld conversion kits and a Nurgle demon prince.
In addition to that I would like to have some smaller demons, but I can't stand the GW plague bearers. They are metal, they look very dated and they are way to comical.
What do you guys use for some nice file and rank Nurgle demons?
I know that Mantic is starting a SciFi range in the future and maybe they are doing something like that, but until then? Are there alternatives to the GW models?
Thanks,
Michael

Its actually really easy to scratchbuild them, either with greenstuff, or how I saw someone do with a great unclean one, a hot glue gun, siple GS on eye and horn, add a roughly cut plasticard weapon, and plague bearer for a few pence.

Valhallan42nd has some very kool looking ones in his gallery -----
Hope that helps

Also, converted bloodletters. Chop off the horns, stick them on the forehead, GS one large eye, file off khorne symbols, file and rough up swords, add some mutation and pestilence, and even easier plaguebearers!

Boom! Leman Russ Commander

I've mostly seen VC Crypt Ghouls like those done above and they usually turn out pretty well, I'd say go with those.

WHFB ghouls and zombies etc with added greenstuff bloating, pustules etc to cover any clothing, is the simplest solution. If your modelling skills are up to it, a few one-eyed conversions, multiple limbs and other mutations are also good.

Hi everybody,
thanks for all the quick and good replies.
Yes, I will look in all those options.
I never did greenstuff so far, an though it should be possible for me, I would rather spare me the time.

Heresy has a lot of small decay demons, not only one.
Wyrd Miniatures has several weird choices in at least 3 fractions.
Personally I went another road and bought these OOP Confrontation Incubi (Mid Nor fraction):
Also have a look at small Fantasy Football miniature manufacturers, e.g. Gaspez Arts makes this Nurgle team:
