Here is my current potential Strakhov lists.

Strakhov: +6 Warjack pts
Torch: 10pts (4pts)
Man O War Kovnik: 3pts
Man O War Demolition Corps unit (min) 6pts
Manhunter or Gorman Di Wulfe: 2pts
15PTS

Doom Reaver Unit: 6pts
Doom Reaver UA: 2pts
Man Hunter or other 2 pt Merc: 2pts
25PTS

Fenris: 5pts
Great Bears of Gallowswood: 5pts
35PTS

In your initial build why not drop the Kovnik and the 2 points and pick up the Man O War Drakhun? You're wasting the Kovnik's jack marshall ability by not having a Beserker or Kodiak to drive.
At your second level go with the manhunter that way everyone can benefit from Stakhov's feat. I personally don't care for doom reavers but if they're what you want then go for it.

Well with this you are certainly going for the non conventional list , by not including Strakhov two most famous "kill strike"

I wouldn't take too many Troops with Strakhov here, I would have take up the Spriggan(Maximum threat range) instead of the Torch, and drop the Kovnik(replaced with a Drakhun) and drop the manhunters

Manhunters hit like trucks...like rocket trucks with strakhov's feat, but so does the drakhun.

I would try to fit in a mortar team somewhere to benefit from sentry.

Other than that, you did a good job of focusing on hard hitting melee units like the demo core and great bears.

Personally, I would swap out the doom reavers for something strakhov can buff, like IFPs, but thats just personal preference.

Actually, I would probably take the Greatbears + Mortar + manhunter at 25pts instead of the reavers. Stealth greatbears with a manhunter nearby is deadly.
