Chaos Dreadnought w/ Missile Launcher, Heavy Flamer = 105
7 Marines w/ Meltagun & Champion in Rhino = 165
7 Marines w/ Meltagun & Champion in Rhino = 165
Defiler = 150
Defiler w/ Extra CCW= 150
Defiler w/ Extra CCW= 150
1500

My opponents list from memory:
Emperors Champion
Terminator Squad w/ 2 Cyclone Missile Launchers
Terminator Assault Squad in Land Raider Crusader
Tactical Squad w/ Lascannon
Tactical Squad in Rhino
Tactical Squad w/ Neophytes & Plasmacannon
Vindicator

The mission was modified killpoints. You had to win by more than 15% of your starting total compared to their starting total. I chose to go first and set up on the opposite side of the ice table than I had in the first game. My opponent failed to seize the initiative, and we were off!

Both of my princes leapt forward, lashing the tactical squad in the ice forest forward. The dreadnoughts behaved themselves and they advanced. Between them and the defilers, I managed to immobilize the vindicator.

The daemon prince that had made it into assault managed to kill two templars, while suffering no wounds in return. They passed their test, and stayed locked in combat.

My opponent moved the land raider up, and started to flank me with his rhino mounted tactical squad and terminators. Nothing much happened in the shooting phase, other than the vindicator stunning one of my rhinos. In the assault phase, my daemon prince killed three of the templars, who fell back.

In my turn two, one of the dreadnoughts went crazy and blood raged towards the land raider. The skinny prince flew over the templar squad after the vindicator, while another dreadnought and a chaos marine squad ran towards the 3 broken templars.

They were cut down with no casualties in return, while the skinny prince exploded the vindicator.

My opponents turn two sees the land raider move even closer, but the terminators decline to get out. The rhino mounted squad zooms around the mountain and gets out, while the cyclone armed terminators move up and scan for targets, sending some missile at the nearest defiler, but cannot bring it down. The tactical squad with neophytes manages to send the skinny prince back to the warp with their shotguns & plasmacannon.

The meltagun wrecks a rhino, forcing the marines inside to get out, and they pass their pinning check.

The multi melta on the land raider ends the rampage of the blood raging dreadnought.

On my turn 3, the greater daemon possesses a marine and goes looking for trouble.

Here the fat prince lashes the squad a big 11 inches, right into assault range of him and the chaos marine squad.

The dreadnought and two defilers make a run at the land raider, daring it occupants to step outside.

The combat goes well for me, with the prince and squad killing all but two templars, who end up dying to fearless wounds.

In the other combat, the greater daemon and the chaos marines manage to kill half of their squad, but the daemon takes two wounds in return!

In my opponents turn 3, his terminators rush the dreadnought while the land raider wrecks the nearest defiler.

During his combat, the emperors champion enters the fray and banishes the greater daemon, while the templar squad takes a few more casualties.

The dreadnought manages to kill the lightning claw armed terminators, and is stunned in return by the thunderhammers.

In my turn 4, the land raider was changed by two angrier than usual defilers, while the terminator squad was surrounded.

The defilers manage to immobilize the land raider, and rip off the multimelta and assault cannon, while the combat between the terminators, daemon prince, dreadnought and chaos marines ends in one dead terminator and a weaponless dreadnought.

The emperors champion manages to cut down three chaos marines, who flee, are caught and scattered like dust in the wind.

My opponents turn 5 really doesn't consist of much other than his templar squad remounting and the big combat continuing. The defilers only manage to rip off the hurricane bolters, despite having 8 attacks against an immobilized land raider! The dreadnoughts, marines and daemon prince manage to drag down another terminator, while the dreadnoughts are stunned and one is immobilized.

Turn 5 is over really quickly, with the defilers exploding the land raider, while the last terminator falls. The cyclone terminators (out of picture) fire one last volley at the defilers but they are saved by cover. The die is rolled and the game is over!

Well a tense game, it really started to heat up after the terminators and the Emperors champion got into combat, stalling a lot of my forces. In the end, nobody won kill points by 15%, so we went to the first tiebreaker, which were table quarters. We each had one, so we went to the third tiebreaker, which was victory points. I had the edge in VP, so the third game was a win for me!

Awesome way to end the day, couldn't have asked for a better opponent in game three.

I am quite glad that the greater daemon Julian Assange got what was coming to him! Political parable?

Nice result, that was a wickedly painted BT army you were up against, and your guys look cool too.

Lol, yep, I figure he shocks his opponents into submission by airing their dirty laundry in public. Only keeper of secrets I know that likes to give them all away!

Yeah Nathan's Templars are awesome, it was good times getting beat up by them.

Nice report. Seems to be a rather strong CSM army.
Julien Assange as GD, nice!

I like the green-fade-to-black on your units, and those templars look SHARP! Real crisp lines and dark black.
