After Watching LBursley's Video tutorial on how to do Death Guard over here, I decided to strip down my plague marines and redo them. They originally had a very bright 90's style paint job that just didn't fit with my tastes anymore. So about 5 or 6 weeks ago I started the process and yesterday I finished them. I haven't decided how I want to base them yet but the guys themselves are done.

This guy is one of my all time favorite models for some reason. I think part of it is because he has a nice resemblance to the Blood Angels captain on the 2ed box, when I got started. He just has that "I'm a badass" swagger to him.

More champions.

The older 1 piece special weapon troopers.

More special weapons. I really like how the plasma coils came out on all the guys for just being APJ Storm Cloud wash over white.

the rest of the guys...

I am a little "meh" on how the paint chips came out. I know I did them too heavy and large, but it isn't enough of an issue for me to restrip and do it again. Overall I am happy in the way they came out and think they will look great on the table.

You know, if you added another AspChamp, meltagunner, plasma gunner and reduced those squads to 7, You could have 5 Squads of PM's..
The look good in this pic. I also vote for close-ups.

Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright;
the band is playing somewhere and somewhere hearts are light,and somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout but there is no joy in Mudville — mighty Casey has struck out.
