What do you think of him? I think he looks cool with his BS6 rerelentles psycannon, blind grenades, and rad grenades.

With a halberd and the hammer power he will wound a trygon on a 4+. Yes he is expensive as heck but he is just insane. If the unit he is with have halberds then they can zap the trygon to death (but to be honest, they might not have to!)

I love the GK Grand Master. It was better than Cats! I'd see it again!

PROSECUTOR: By now, there have been 34 casualties.

Why would you want the 45 point psycannon? So overpriced. Rad nades are decent but not 100% necessary. I'd also stick with the standard NFW for the 3++ inv save over all the other weapons.

Well, the only reason that Psycannon is 45 points is because it is shooting at BS 6, which is quite impressive. However, even though it would seem like the cost for a termie's psycannon is only 25, you don't always have that direct option, due to getting only 1 per 5.
While I recently decided to downgrade him to a Brother-Captain and Mastercraft the Psycannon (math works out better then BS 6), I had a GK Grandmaster with Psycannon, along with an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor with Psycannon, attached to a full Termie squad, so that I could have 4 Psycannons, and also the option of splitting them off to shoot at different targets, if necessary. I dropped the GM to a B-C due to having almost no use for The Grand Strategy, though that is a rare occurrence. What I really wanted was simply 2x Psychic Communion to nearly guarantee second turn deep strikes.

The psycannon also shoots 4 attacks when it is on a terminator. 45 points for wrecking a rhino each turn? yes please.

A solo cannon grey master isn't as insane as you would think. If you don't take termies, transports for termies, or hope to make use of the communion to call in DS reserves, he can often be by his lonesome, unable to join the PAGK in their comfy rhino bunkers. Since he is by himself, you might as well make use out of his shooting. The cannone makes best use of his BS, since he hits about 86 percent IIRC, its not bad. If you are going to be spending that many points on him, an orbital strike also is an option (though doesn't use his BS, and he can't move during the movement phase) If you can find a good hiding spot, its more effective than you would think while waiting for your reserves.

the Psycannon is the best ranged weapon for the GM.

just keep the sword for some awsome CC survivability.
