I'm intending to base a GK army (very loosely) on Emperor Justinian I's attempted reconquest of the Western Roman Empire. I want to include some Arco-flagellants, and my first idea was to model them as "barbarian" auxiliaries. That means bare-ish chests, warpaint, and absurdly large weapons. Unfortunately, I can't find any decent human models to use. Any ideas?

Kitbashes are fine, and it's ok if they're a little too big or muscled or whatever, but i don't want something Ork-sized.

Thanks!

This should go into the Modelling Forum next time

Anyways, maybe try using these guys as a base: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440109a&prodId=prod1040523

The only other alternative is the Savage Orcs, and you've made it clear you dont prefer them =x

Chaos Marauders from Fantasy really are the way to go. You can even give them flails and such.

Check out my Youtube channel!

Thanks, guys. I'd looked at the Marauders and rejected them as a little too static, but they look like the best option out there. It's nothing a little creative cutting and posing can't fix.

Beastmen then? Ungors are almost human enough. And given the return of Space Monkeys, it shouldnt be that much of a stretch (anymore) to have beastmen in Inquisitorial armies.

Wargames Factory.

Get the Celt or Saxon army, and they have some nice Vikings.
They are great figs and they dont cost very much.
