The idea is pop the Lord in with regular Skeletons, the Helm of Comm.
vamp in with ghouls or behind the units on his lonesome to throw his WS at either
the first unit or the Grave Guard. BSB joins the second unit of Skeletons with the
Red Fury and Tomb Blade combo to ideally make an immoveable tarpit.

I think that by keeping vamps out of the Grave Guard it makes the enemy think twice
before blowing up any one target by giving them all the potential to hit hard. Varghulf
and wolves for warmachine hunting.

It's not min/maxxed to be a waac army at all. I'm designing the army for my friend
and we'll only be playing casually, no tournies or anything.

It looks good but there's a couple things you should probably fix.

1) A Battle Standard Bearer can't take any other magic equipment
2) I think the necromancer can only take an additional spell once, I'm not sure about that, however I am pretty sure he can't pick what he gets
3) The Dire Wolves and Black Knights aren't going to do much in units of five
4) 25 Is a bit small to make use of spears. You could do some switching, have a unit of 10 Skeletons as a bunker for your helm of commandment Vampire, and have a unit of 39 skeletons with spears. That could be a pretty tough unit.
5) With as much spellcasting as you have, I wouldn't worry about Graveguard survivability. Great Weapons are worth a point for them, especially with their 2 initiative which means they'll usually be attacking last anyway.
6) Multiple Small Units isn't a good environment for something like a Varghulf. Remember, if two or your units are in a single combat and they lose the combat, the amount of wounds you took for resolution effectively doubled. This means if your Varghulf flanked enemies fighting your skeletons they don't have to kill your Varghulf, they have to kill the skeletons and the Varghulf will automatically die. You could get more use of a black coach.

1 yes it can if it doesn't take a magic banner, which mine doesn't.
2 yes he can, you pay 15 points each for the second 2 spells
3 wolves are 40 points and can at least distract war machines, black knights are there for flank charges only. Any models lost are easily revived
4 with the tomb blade in 1 unit and the Lord casting invoke on skeletons they will quickly grow beyond their starting numbers
5 I'll look into finding the points for great weapons
6 duly noted, but again, my friend likes the mega bat so it'll stay. The people he'll be playing against don't run MSU ever.
