About a week ago i ran out of badab black (a pot i bought about 1 and a half year ago) so i went to my local shop to get a new one but when i opened it up i noticed it had awfull stentch to it....

Did GW change the washes over this time?
Also has anyone else experinced this too ?

Devlan mud has always smelled pretty ripe to me.

Yeah its pretty bad. Good for a laugh though. I had my wife smell it to see if it smelled like cinnimon... The face was priceless!

I noticed my devlan mud stinking more than usual, like something I had left in the tolet earlier that day, it almost made me sick, but it did exactly the same with no obvious signs of change, so who knows

Funny, I always thought of Devlan Mud as having an earthy, nutty smell.

thats what some of those people at games day were doing then.poor guys do everything gw tells em and had been bathing in devlan mud.well it does say wash.
note to dakkites there were some very fruity types at games day.

i've not had any that smell of old socks, i always end up with the vaguely chocolaty smelly ones

I take it has something to do with the new washes then and not something else.

At least they still works as the one that didn't smell bad

The black does have da funk.. My Devlan Mud is almost walnutty though..
