A necron army is strong to a point, but the phase out and the fact the only counter assault units are flayed ones and a 360 point model right now is why they are bottom tier until the next codex. My favorite army fluff wise is definitely Tyranids because of Starship troopers. They dont just eat you, they eat your world!!!!!
