I'd really like they to stay as-is, but I highly doubt they will. And the idea to keep Invulnerable saves invulnerable, rather than just a different flavor of save, certainly has merit.

Failing that, my wish?: Power weapon, instant-death, reroll successful Invulnerable saves. Innate to C'Tan (or whatever kind of 'heralds'/'ascended Lords' take their place), standard on Pariahs, buyable as wargear for Lords.
