What model options are available for making an inquisitorial GK force? Do I have to buy a boatload of guardsmen and kitbash?

Here is what I am doing, but I am amking a radical inquisitor list, so if you want "loyal" looking models you might need to pick something different.


1) Crusaders - I am kaing these guys out of the Chaos Warriors (fantasy). They are almost bog standard. All I did was remove the horns from their helmets and add a power cable to the sword or ax

2) Death Cult Assassins - For these guys I used the DE whych models. I replaced the pistol with other weapons from the box, added power cables, and shaved off some of the more spikey bits.

(the following are planned projects, so I do not yet know how they will turn out)

3) Arco-Flaggelents - empire Flaggelents. I am planning on adding some cables, masks, and attaching the flails onto their arms instead of them holding them.

4) Jokero - Mine are going to be little obliterator guys, so they will be regular guardsmen with guns growing out of their arms and such.

5) Warriors- Cadians. I am planning on either getting or making some different heads so their faces are more covered and armored. I am getting the Command squad box so I can also make A vindicare from the sniper bits, and a second inquisitor with the officer bits. There are also Melta/plasma guns in this box.

6) Daemon Hosts - Pink horrors. Take off the "face" and shave off the tongue. Then add a Cadian face to the top of the model and Green stuff a neck and connection to the rest of the body.

Here is what I am doing.

Warriors from Cadians and Space Marines, Sisters and even a couple of Tau and Eldar models carrying Imperium tech for my Xenos Inq.

Daemonhosts, I have some wood elf dryads and some TDA daemonhosts in chains with daemonic mutations.

Crusaders, I have a couple of the official models but are looking at High Elf Spearman or Seaguard because I really like polearms/spears etc.

Death Cult Assassins, I am either going Wardancers from the wood elf line or Eternal Guard from Wood Elves (again because I love their double bladed staves).

Jokaero I am converting from orks using green stuff to give them hair. Their build is quite ape like, short legs, long arms.

Psykers are Plague Monks from Skaven with IG heads.

Servitors as servitors.

Mystics I am not running.

Banishers I am not running but if I was I would use Sisters Repentia as the come with eviscerators standard and they are cool sculpts.

Arco-Flagellents I am not running.

I was hoping shotguns would be an option and I could use my Adeptus Arbites, but no dice. Might just make them all stormbolter henchmen though. Necromunda models are overall a fun idea for this sort of thing.
