Hello Dakkians,
I have recently finished a Tyranid army and before that an Ogre army.
I am now starting a marine army, so I also want a new Fantasy army.
Only two armies are no go areas.
Ogres, obvously, and High Elves, becasue they are all poncy and I don't want to paint High Elves.
Thank you.

Well mate, I'm guessing that you'll want an army that's completely different in play style to your Ogres. Plus knowing you I suspect you'll want an army with a low model count.
Taking that into account, maybe you should try Brettonians, Dwarves or Lizards (I would also suggest Chaos Warriors but Formosa is doing them and I know you like to be different if you can).

Brets are interesting, but i have had enough of cavalry for a while. Dwarves interest me, but lizards.
Maybe, but i wouldn't have the patience to sit down and paint them all, they are too niddish.
oh, and a low model count, no longer matters. this army has no timeframa.

Oh go for a horde(ish) army then, should provide a very different challenge to your ogres. If the new Tomb King book is any good they could be perfect.
