I am interested in what my fellow dakkanauts run as fire support Dreadnoughts. I have 3 setups i use regularly.

1 x ML and 1 x TLC = Okay but costs 145pts, if i am going up against significant amounts of Armour.
1 x TL AC and 1 x CC = 115pts not bad for TLC Autocannon.
2 x TL AC = 125pts Good old Rifleman Dread, (Probably my favorite as it has numerous shots and re-role to hit, crap in CC)

What do you run and why?

I like 1xML and 1xTL AC= 125. That way you can have an instant death shot(for T4), put out a blast template, and still have the rhino popping awesomeness of the twin linked autocannon.

I run with the TLLC/ML most of the time. Its a transport sniper, and good at killing stranded ICs too. I would like to run the riffleman, but I don't have autocannon arms, and I mostly play WYSIWYG. I tried out a ven dread with assault cannon and DCCW/HF yesterday, and it was actually pretty effective at shooting. Killed a LR executioner (rending pen, explosion... lucky) and most of an infantry squad and command squad (only Straken was left, but he punched it to death) Its a close range fire support, can threaten vehicles, and is death to infantry.

As a BT player, a tank hunting venerable dread with tllc/ml is pretty awesome, and we can't get tlac anyway.
