I'm going to be using the tank commander head (the one with the high tech looking guard helmet) that comes with a Chimera for my Gue'vesa (I'll be ordering a bunch from a bitz store) but I haven't been able to find any pictures of the head being used on an actual model or painted. Does anyone have pictures of this?

Oh god.

Best head ever.

Where will you order them from and what do they cost?

Bitz Barn 75ยข a head but I'm not sure what that translates to where you're from. I bought 20 for 2 squads of 10 Gue'vesa for 15 dollars before shipping.

Hm I just looked at their official photo and it's hard to tell if it's the same head or not.

Used that helmet on my MoO.

Looks awesome, by the way. Hi-tech, but definitely imperial.

Yeah that's why I want to use it, the way I see it the Tau wouden't just give gue'vesa new wargear they would improve on what they already have just like they've done with every other race so with the helmet they would improve on it but it would still be recognisable as Imperial and this head is perfect for that

They're almost AU$5 from The Combat Company.

What you could NOT do, is NOT cast it in resin, because that would then break IP restrictions, it's simple to do, but may not save you a huge amount of money, but if it is rarely instock, it may be help to NOT cast it?

the key is you are more than allowed to take a cast, and make as many casts as you please of GW's stuff. You could make 5 million copies of the stuff. What you CAN'T do is sell it. Then again, it also depends on where you live and the laws and regulations of IP. Most cases, once you own something, do with it what you wish, its the profiting from someone elses IP that gets you in doo-doo. Case in point: chapterhouse.

well, okay fine, chapter house is not a great case in point but a close enough example.

Back in line with topic:
What about differentiating the sargeant? You take a pair of magnoculars, split in half and mount it somewhere on the helmet or a heavy-weapon sight if you have one to spare somewhere.

keep your eyes open for battleroad games on ebay, they just started out, so the prices are dirt cheap for now. I got a pair of medic bits and two sets of baners for a grand total of $4 and a drop pod for under $20. They might not have the parts you are loking for in bulk, but it's definately worth checking them out now and again

Battlewagon bits AKA warstore.com is also good. I find they're a wee bit more expensive, but they are likelier not to run low. They also offer a 20% discount on GW RRP, but, im going to bet this is all small peas to everyone as news are concerned
