Your main problem is going to be objective games, you barely have troops, and falcons are more long range. But I see how it'd work sit in the back and shoot with them then turn 5 zoom up take objectives, seems like a good idea, works for me and my eldar.

I don't think you need the farseer with the fire dragons, they kill anything they shoot, they don't need any help. I'd take out her and put in somthing else. Maybe few jetbikes to give you more abiltiy to capture and contest objectives. Hide them in the back, maybe pop out shoot a rhino with the shruiken cannon, then go back to hiding. Then end of the game turbo boost to an objective. Gives you better chance of winning objective games.

Also consider, changing out the shruiken cannons for missle launchers, for more tank killing. If you've got the ponts

Yeah the big problem I foresee is the small amount of units. At 1500 pts you are giving your opponent 4 tanks and 1 pack of Spiders to shoot at which allows him to focus his forces in on you.

Having tried the Fire Dragon "Full squad to obliterate whole units" tactic before I can say I've gotten kinda meh results. If it's a pack of 10 MEQ you just can't get um all which leads to getting shot up or assaulted.

Fire Dragons are there to kill tanks. If something else needs to die that's weaker then a TEQ, and you're shooting it with dragons, then they must have lost their transport or you're doing it really, really wrong. 5 man min-cost dragons in min-cost serpents pop anything short of a monolith reliably, don't invest more than you need to.

Your falcons are the juiciest target to hit, and also the sole bearer of your entire troop contingent. Either find a 3rd falcon, or put 1 lot in a serpent, or get some more troops like jetbikes or defenders. You risk too much by having your scoring troops in the softest, shootiest tanks.

Never used warp spiders, never plan to, so I'll reserve judgement. Overall, they seem weak and misplaced.

If you need points, drop the 2nd farseer, or make him with only guide and runes of warding and stick him in a scoring falcon for twin linked dakka.

You've taken a "what if" approach to building your army, and contingencies are not what Eldar are good at. If your specialist unit fails to do whatever its doing, you lose. Its not like some armies where everything is a carbon copy and if one unit misses, the next unit can pick up the slack. You need to get the exact units your need, assign them to exactly the tasks that need doing, and hope you don't roll bad. If you play like that, you'll have a lot more success than using a 7-man fire dragon squad on MEQs.

Horrific Howling Banshee

So rather than fixing the lack of troops, or maxing out the banshee squad, you dropped the GODDAMN TRANSPORT OFF THE BANSHEES AND BOUGHT SCORPIONS?

Ok, you know what, do whatever you like. You've still got a fire dragon exarch. You still don't have a maxed banshee squad. You still have only 2 troops choices. You put a guide seer with the scorpions?

Here is some advice to "improve" your list. Make sure you take 6 avengers in each squad, just in case they need to get out, so they have one more body. Make sure you buy tank hunter on your dragon exarch, and try to max the squad. You'll need all those bonuses to take down those nasty AV12 transports popping up all over the place. Your farseers don't have enough powers, consider dropping the stones to pick up dual eldritch storm. Don't forget to guide your scorpions pistols and fortune your banshees 4+ save, those farseers are really justifying the almost 400 points spent on them.

If you're not open to changing your list when we critique it, then please don't post your list in the first place.

but you aren't.

This codex has been around for a long time, 5th edition has been around for a long time. You may think your list is "something different" because you don't see many like it on dakka. This isn't because nobody has thought of it, its because it plain and simple doesn't work, when people have played lists like yours- they get messily defeated.

Banshees on foot just die, and never get a chance to charge. Scorpions are incredibly lack luster. You have 2 expensive HQs in 1500 points, and only 2 troop squads. Instead of listening to any of the advise Dagger, or Scat has given you, you don't make any of the changes they suggest, but rather change something else in such a way as to actually make your list weaker by removing the Banshee's transport.

If you are determined to run this list, so be it. Get stomped on by some marine players, at least have fun doing so. But if you are going to post it on Dakka- seeking advice, at least a gesture of open mindedness to the advice given is important.

Okay, let's see if we can do something about your list without taking away its theme...

Howling Banshees need Doom and nothing else. Put a regular 80-point Doomseer to ride with them and that's it. Buy the exarch with the Executioner, WS5 S5 upgrade-model helps a lot. But don't buy any of the powers, unless you absolutely have no other place to spend those 5-10 points.

Take out your other farseer from your Fire Dragon squad and only buy Guide and Runes of Warding, then put that Farseer into one of the Falcons to guide their shots. If that Falcon gets shaken/stunned, you can guide the other one for the same effect. Drop the Fire Dragon squad to 5 with no exarch, not because he's not good, but because your list has other, much greater priorities and fire dragon exarch is not needed to get the job done.

I've tried using Warp Spiders in 1500-point games and it just doesn't work. They're too squishy and too unreliable and cost too many points at that point level to be worth using, especially if they fight with troop choices for the points! Drop them and take 2 squads of 3 jetbikes with shuriken cannons and an embolden warlock. Or 1 squad of those and 2 Vypers or a squadron of war walkers.

Point being, you NEED another troop choice and you need something that will actually deliver firepower in your list, because as of right now, you're set against AV 12, but against a Chimera or Razorback spam, or horde armies, you'll not have enough shots to thin their numbers. I'd take War walkers over Vypers any day(in my list, I use both, because I ran out of HS slots for more Walkers). But in either case, those overcosted Fire Dragon and Farseer upgrades need to go, as well as Warp spiders, to get you another scoring unit and more S6 shooting to help with various tasks. Mass S6 shots is what Eldar do best and it's really versatile in its choice of targets.

You can fortune your banshees all game, but as soon as a S5 AP4 heavy flamer hits them, they're getting wounded on 2+ with NO armor and NO cover to reroll. There are dozens of high-shot midrange weapons with AP4 or better that will all turn onto your footslogging banshees and farseer, and turn them into elf soup.

I'll make it concise so that you understand, since you seem to like short sentences with no punctuation:

you get shot
you die
farseer does not help
