After finishing off my Pretty Marine army for the Bolter Beach II, I decided to take my mono-Slaanesh daemons off the back burner, and get them up and running for the next tourny in July.

Yes, mono-Slaanesh. Nothing but boobtasic, fragile pleasure-seekers flooding the battlefield. I've loved the aesthetics and theme of Slaanesh for a long time now, and have always felt the Dark Prince was sadly under-represented in the player base. Having started with DE in 3rd, and played them as my main army until earlier this
year, I understand the oft neglected usefulness of speed; Specifically using it to get past the massive weakness of T3 and 5+ saves.

Anyway, as it currently stands, my army consists of:
HQ
Keeper of Secrets- Might, Musk
Herald- Chariot, Might, Musk
Herald- Chariot, Might, Musk

Elites
6 Fiends- 1x Might
6 Fiends- 1x Might
6 Fiends- 1x Might

Troops
12x Daemonettes
12x Daemonettes
12x Daemonettes

Fast
10x Seekers

Heavy
Prince- Mark of Slaanesh, Hide, Might, Aura
Prince- Mark of Slaanesh, Hide, Might, Aura

Some gifts may be re-arranged by the end of this, but the basic structure I'm pretty set on.

Edit: Here's the first Daemonette all done up.

I wanted to go with a more restricted palatte for this army than I normally do, and am fairly pleased with how it's turning out so far. This was the paint tester, so has a few flaws that will be tightened up and otherwise rectified from here forward. My only concern is how well it will translate to the larger models in the army.

The pink lettering is fine, but can you return it to normal font size. It will make this alot less painful to read.

Also...why not post the thread when the pics are working?

I would have, but had already typed everything out and then went to upload the picture. Didn't want to type it all out again.

Figured I'd have it all set within an hour or so, so no harm in just going ahead and clicking submit.

Finished up the first squad of Daemonettes, sans bases. They're turning out better than the paint tester, I'm pretty pleased with them overall.

I'm still debating what I want to go with for bases on the army. Something darker most likely, to contrast with the brightness of the mini's themselves. Likely something ash waste or ruined city-esque, as much as I'd like to avoid it.

Think I might knock out a fiend or two next to see how well the scheme transfers to them.

Here's the first fiend up to test how well the limited colors work on a larger model.

I decided to go the Cold One route for my fiends. I'm not the biggest fan of the metals, and I can't quite stomach the 22 USD a pop for them. Especially when I need 3 full units!
Just shaved down the saddle and reigns into some decorative armor, popped on some of the large 'nette claws (I don't like them on my daemonettes) and some of the spare head pieces from Seekers, and reposed them to up their size a bit and make them a little more dynamic. And I'm using the extra large claws from the Seekers, with some extra decorative bits and bobs, to mark out the Unholy Might ones in each unit.

Here's the next up after I finish off the unit of fiends. My first herald's chariot:

The pictures let me notice a mold line I missed on that fiend though. Off to fix that first!
