I'm currently painting the last few models in my BA army. I'm looking to start another now, preferably something I could field alongside it. I was looking at the new GK models and I would love to get them, but does anyone have any suggestions? I know GK are pricey in points so I'm also kinda leaning toward SW. Not sure....

Why not try something thats not SM? You have an assaulty army so why not try a shooty list with Tau?

Try IG, every1 has SW and I am sure GK in time... dark angels are good, they are cheap too. The upgrade kit comes with enough to make 5 dudes (with spare bases) for around £8! epicness = full army of robed DA. Its up to you. IMHO i would just stick with BA as they whip nooby whimpy ass and look awsome.

My vote is Grey Knights, they look great and have loads of options now because they are done in plastic. Just remember it is the flavor of the hour and lots of people will be fielding them.
I say do an opposing army like Tyranids!

Yeah, might want to try a Xenos or heretical army instead of more 'little plastic dudes with different colors'.

I suggest a xeno army. You could go eldar, they can field a similar play style to Blood Angels.
Also, if it matters, IG armies are very expensive monetarily. Jus' Sayin'

When I got close to finishing my marines I decided to start another army just to break the monotony of painting all my 'blue' tactical squads.
The Orks are the best choice for a second army as you can relax a little with those models and have a bit of fun with them. They are the one faction that makes me smile every time I field them. It's hard to stay grimdark 24/7. A little 'tongue and cheek' humor to offset the ominous uberness of the other factions always helps to keep the 40k fire going.

Ork's look very fun, not only from a modeling aspect, but I've seen the KoS list's do very well in a tournament setting.
