So I am assuming that Killa Kans and other walkers dont have to roll for a Get's Hot! weapon check? I've had a player claiming that since Walkers use infantry walking rules, they should roll it and get a glancing hit, as well as not shoot. Is that true?

Yeah, Walkers are vehicles, so they don't worry about Gets Hot.

I would be curious as to what made your friend possibly think you took a glance and couldn't shoot.

When SM dreads start taking gets hot for their Plasmacannons etc then i'll take them for my Kanz

Walkers are vehicles. Tell them to look it up under walkers in the vehicles section.
