Couldn't find answer on Dakkadakka, can a chapter master use the orbital bombardment in a landraider even though you don't need line of sight? I don't think chapter master can use it because there are no fire points, but some disagree just want too clarify this. Thanks

It is still used like a weapon, and you may not fire any weapon from a vehicle without fire points(open topped vehicles technicaly have fire points). So, no.

i thinks its funny that the guy can make an assault after the bombing.

You can only Assault the unit you targeted with the Barrage though, making it pretty high risk.

It think its an awesome move - have your battle cruiser fire at the guy right in front of you and then finish him with your chainfist. There is never enough overkill.
