Ok so I was thinking of using a Brettonian horse for my grand master as it looks fancier and more detailed then the average empire warhorse. So I was thinking of what colors to use when I decided to make the emblems (large shield things on the sides there are 4 total) a 4 squar of yellow and black, now the straps and saddle I think the traditional leather brown would work. As I moved on from there I figured the smaller emblems (the tiny shields on the horse's straps) I would make them NMM silver and the rivets in the traps like wise. Then the chain mail that was peaking from under the tarp a NMM silver and the larger emblem on the front of the horse?s head a yellow/black four squar. The horse I was thinking of making black and here is where I ran into a problem, what color should the tarp be? I can't leave it black or it will clash but making the horse brown will not go that well with the straps. So does any one have any suggestions? I wouldn't mind something fancy and the army theme color is yellow/black.
