Growlin' Guntrukk Driver with Killacannon

Hey guys I am looking to get into fantasy and decided to go with a Skaven army. I'm really just looking for a solid 1500 point army. I have about 80 Clan rats give or take, some Giant Rat Ogres, A warp lightning cannon, and some gutter runners along with some HQs one of which being Grey Seer Thanquol and Bone Ripper. I also have the models from island of blood along with a bunch of the support gun teams. Rattling guns and a bunch of the Lobber guys. Never played fantasy before so im not exactly sure where to start. I don't want to waste money on models that ill never use considering i dump most of my cash into 40k. I do like the Bell/Furnace model as well as the doom wheel so I do want to field those if I could at this points level. Could anyone give me a general direction to start and then ill make a list? Thank you.

Well fantasy has a cap on the points you are allowed to take for things
25% Lords
25% Heroes
at least 25% in Core must be taken
50% Special
25% Rare

Because of this cap a couple things are out like Screaming Bells min 440pts
A plague furnace can be taken but it's a lot of points about 325 with a level 2 plague priest with some equipment, plague monks are what you want to push this thing and you will want 30-40+ as it will kill some models just pushing it. The good thing with this is I hear there are lots of giant rats on the plague monk sprues so put them on their own bases and you got giant rats. However I do not recommend this as they take up a Hero choice of which you have 375 pts to work with and you will need a BSB, you could downgrade to a standard level 1 priest though. I just don't recommend skipping on defensive equipment as he cannot refuse challenges.

Rare you also are in a bind but based on what you said a Doomwheel and 1-2 Warp Lightning Cannons are your best bet and they will pack a lot of damage

Thanquol is out too many points so use him as a Gray Seer and Bone Ripper maybe in with some rat ogres as the master bred, 3 total ogres is OK, 6 is better.

Gutter Runners are great units of 6 with slings and poison attacks are pretty much a necessity for taking out that early threat or war machines.

I would feel better if you had more rats, slaves are a must to tarpit units, but they are so cheap you need a lot maybe as much as 125-150 rats to pull off 2 good sized units, however clan rats can do it too and weapon teams are fun, they are all pretty good too can't recommend one over the other, I do like the warp fire against armies with low leadership as it will force a panic test if they lose just 1 wound. As for the rats check ebay, check the swap shop forums, I picked up 100 hand weapon/shield IoB rats for $60, I did get a great deal though.

A BSB is good for the rerolls, use the Chieften/Warlord for IoB as your BSB, equip him defensively he's too important too lose.

Warlocks are nice too, as a caster or just packing the brass orb or doom rocket as a suicide unit.

Thus, After having thus successively taken each member of the community in its powerful grasp and fashioned him at will, the supreme power then extends its arm over the whole community. It covers the surface of society with a network of small complicated rules, minute and uniform, through which the most original minds and the most energetic characters cannot penetrate, to rise above the crowd. The will of man is not shattered, but softened, bent, and guided; men are seldom forced by it to act, but they are constantly restrained from acting. Such a power does not destroy, but it prevents existence; it does not tyrannize, but it compresses, enervates, extinguishes, and stupefies a people, till each nation is reduced to nothing better than a flock of timid and industrious animals, of which the government is the shepherd
