Mutilatin' Mad Dok

I was wondering about the HQs in an army. I play ork, so I have a maximum of 2 HQs. But I was wondering if the HQs that are only usable in a squad (ie: badrukk, snikrot, etc) take a HQ slot or if they are just a special nob/sergeant. for example: Could I have Gazkhull, Big mek as HQs, And with a squad of Flash Gitz, Captain Badrukk or/And in a squad of Kommandos, Snikrot.

No.
If it is an HQ selection it takes an HQ slot.
(Obviously unless it says otherwise, a la Tyranid Tyrant Guard, but I do not see that in the Ork Codex)

ok, I was wondering because, in the end of the codex (the part made to help make your army, with the points and all), Badrukk only appears in the Flash Gitz section (heavy support). Snikrot only appears under the kommandos (elites) It made me wonder because Zolgwort, Thraka, and Mad Dok WhathisName are under the HQ section of that part of the codex. The big BUT that made me wonder is that in the unit description part of the codex (with the lore and description of the special weapons and rules), Badrukk and Snikrot are in the same section as MadDok WhatHisName, Gaskhull and Zolgwort which is HQs. So my two examples appear under two categories of the Codex and I was wondering which one took priority.

If they're listed as an upgrade to a unit (badrukk, snikrot, zagstrukk) they are part of that unit when bought.
If they are listed under the HQ section- Grotsnik, Ghazgkull, Zogwort they are HQ's
Look at the army list entries at the back of the book, not the fluff section. The specials are all listed togethor for ease of reference in the fluff, but they aren't all HQ choices .
It's perfectly fine, for example, to take Ghazgkull and Zogwort as HQ's, and then take a unit of stormboyz with Zagstrukk, a unit of Flas Gitz with Badrukk and a unit of Kommandos with Snikrot as these are all unit leader upgrades, not HQ's. Be aware that you can only access them if you take the unit that allows them to join it, also.

Pages 96 and 97 let you know they are HQ. Things are listed in different places for specific info--see Painboys. The guys you mention are actually individuals--which are all listed together regardless of their FOC slot in the unit description section you mentioned.

Actually if you look at the section with the full character descriptions, you'll notice that it's really not an "HQ" section, it just happens to be the place in the codex where they describe all special characters. The special characters in each Codex are typically described together, but that doesn't necessarily mean that a special unique character is a HQ.
Like kirsanth said, unless it's listed as an HQ in the HQ section of the armory (where the points and options are) or has a special rule that says "Counts as one of your HQ Choices" then it's not an HQ, but rather an upgrade character for a different unit.
It's easy to think that all named special characters are HQ's, but they all aren't.

Alright thanks guys, I am still new to this game (while I am getting the hold on how to play orks quite fast) and that was something that was bugging me since I was about to get snikrot and I wanted to know if I could still use a warboss and a big mek with snikrot.
