Somewhere in south-central England.

It is a legit topic but it belongs in Other Games somewhere.

Large Scale, RPG and Board Games seems like the closest match. For some strange reason most general game players (like me) count card games as board games.

I will move the thread.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Thank's Killkrazy.

And everyone's entitled to their opinions, Soldarin. I'm hoping that there are some on Dakka that'll accept that some players play card games, especially something as competitive as YGO.

It's the only game I've ever played, where I kicked a 40 year olds ass, then got beaten by a 7 year old...

There are a few threads around. I went to nationals a couple of times many formats ago.

My little brother is crazy about them. He managed to get me to play a while, I thought the light creatures were cool enough. But in the end card games just really weren't my thing.

I know what you mean. None of my friends are really into card games, either.

I tried to get my GF into it (she liked the Wind monsters) but she bailed, too.

Luckily she bailed into collecting Warhammer. =D

New Mexico. Look, a UFO!

I don't, but if you do more power to you.
Also for some reason, whenever someone mentions Yu-gi-oh, I always think of this:

Every time.

In that foulest of ages, this ship had hung in the skies above Holy Terra as the world's atmosphere burned. Its name was Ashallius S'Veyval, in a dead language, from a dead world. In Imperial Gothic, it translated loosely as Echo Of Damnation.

Thank Heaven! The crisis --The danger, is past, and the lingering illness is over at last --, and the fever called "Living" is conquered at last.
