This is the beginning of my Chaos Space Marine army.



The tactical squad is just a regular tactical space marine squad, painted up in the, slightly sinister, army colors. They're freshly tainted, and hasn't attained the attention of the chaos gods yet. They all have individual paint jobs within the same palette, to give them a slightly chaotic but still uniform look. I'll keep this up with everything else in the army.

I will stick the chaos lord on a base, but I don't want to mess up the flocking with that cool quasi base he comes with, so I've been putting it off. The terminator squad will get one more member, so I can jam all five of them in a land raider.

Well. That's it I guess. If anyone has suggestions as to what I can expand with, it'll be accepted gladly. What I have, but haven't painted is a chaos space marine attack squad (the 5 man box) and a havoc squad. I doubt I'll paint up the havoc heavy weapons, though, because they're METAL and I hate that with a passion. I can't wait till the Obliterators come in plastic, then I'll be all over those.

Great work. Some of the details are a bit tough to see from the photo, but maybe consider giving the rhino at least some highliting?

I like the "mismatches but uniform" look! Great idea.

it looks great, but as the guy said any chance i can have more detalied shots of each guy or somthing??

uploading from phone, or i'd have color corrected somewhat. i would've have highlighted if i had the talent or patience. i've accepted that i can't paint above table top quality, so i try to do that as efficiently as possible, but even then it's agonizingly slow going.

Considering the sort of uniform but not look of these guys, I would make their slogan/battlecry/motto-Beauty through order.

Oh I don't know Sarge. That's table-top quality, but those models are still impressive. And seriously consider the highliting, even only 1-stage. Its what I do and it really makes the models pop.
