this happened friday so my mermory might not be good on this

blood angels army list
HQ:
captain
hounour guard company standard

troops
15 dc
dc dreadnought

space wolfs
HQ: wolf lord runic armour frost blade
there was a dreadnought but im not sure where it go's in SW codex

troops
10 grey hunters
10 blood claws
drop pod (dread inside)


TURN 1: space wolfs
he went first he scout moved his scouts forward
he moved, he shot, he failed, thats it for his turn

TURN 1 : blood angels
dc moved up along with the dc dread and honour guard
then the honour guard shot at the scouts killing 2

TURN 2: space wolfs
the DP came down with the dread the dread fired the melta gun at the back of the the dc dread penatrated and rolled a 2 on the penatration table

TURN 2: blood angels
dc dread turned around and moved toward his dread everything else moved up
dc shot at sw grey hunters with bolt pistol alot hit then all but 1 failed then the 1 wound was a failed armour save
dc dread then shot a melta into the other dread face immobliseing it then it assulted
the dc were out of range of assult by 1/2 an inch (funilly enough my oppent doesnt like dc from past experinces with his eldar )
in combat the dc dread ripped of the other dread cc weapon renderinghim with 1 attack

TURN 3: space wolfs
the blood claws assulted my dc while everything else just sat there
in combat the dread fought to a stand still
blood claws vs dc combat the dc and blood claws hit at the same time th dc killed 5 blood claws, the blood claws killed 2 but then the wolf lord went and killed 3

we ended the game there we called it a draw bacuse we didnt have time but just to say he only had 558 point on him so fair do's to him

The report captures the details of the battle but it is tough to get an idea for the flow of it from such a mechanical description. I think the comment 'boring' which is not constructive, alludes to the fact that w/o accompanying pictures it is very difficult to get a sense for what happened.

Further, with the game ending prematurely it is hard to say what would have happened, what are your thoughts? It is also generally not as interesting when reports (unless it is a tournament) recount half completed games

personally i thought the dc would of tore up his blood claws, not sure about the grey hunters, the dread would have just done nothing and the scouts would get annilated and i get were your coming from about the pictures i hope next batrep i cab take pics
