I might rock that Bazaar of the Bizarre. Got plenty of stuff to unload.

Pretty sure that the 4/1 veteran's night event is going to be Planetstrike, not straight up Apocalypse.

Definatly going to hit the Bizarre Bazaar though. Spingfield FTW!

I thought the invite was 2000pts apoc?

Bing said it was going to be a Planetstrike game and the invite says: "Bring 2000pts of Apocalypse to play in our veteran's Planetstrike event with Imperials as the defenders."

So, I don't know.... Maybe we'll be allowed to bring Apoc stuff.

This news is quite a surprise. GW management above the store level has pretty much forbidden store operators/managers from having in-store flea markets since the last of these events last year. Ever since then store operators have had to abandon future flea market plans until they can figure out a way to work around that edict. Please keep us posted if this Bazaar actually goes off successfully, it might open the door to more of them.

We started doing Bizarre Bazaars about 3 or 4 years ago and they were banned for awhile due to something going wrong during one in California. We've had another one about 7 or 8 months ago. They don't allow money transactions in the store still though. We trade or buy gift cards to exchange only.

Thanks, but actually I know all that. I'm in Maryland and we have lots of GW stores and have had flea markets in them for several years now. The thing is, after the last few Bazaars last year it is my understanding from talking to store operators that middle or upper management has banned them altogether for the time being at least, so it's a surprise to see one going down without hiding it under the radar and if it's on Facebook it's not under the radar!
