I've been playing
VC for around a year now. I'm still slightly unsure of the proper interpretation for the "Vampire" rule. It states in the final paragraph of page 35 in the
VC codex that "Vampire characters are wizards...A Vampire is a level 1 wizard...". In paragraph 3 page 38 of the
VC codex it states "All Vampire characters...know the Invocation of Nehek spell...". Now in the
VC FAQ it states that Konrad is not a wizard although he does have the "Vampire" special rule. That confuses me because isn't he a character and a vampire? The Varghulf technically a character with the vampire special rule...would it too not be a level 1 wizard? Blood Knights are not "characters" but are "vampires" therefore are not wizards?
I haven't used the Varghulf as a wizard but it seems to my interpretation it should be. But the whole
VC FAQ with Konrad not being a wiz left me a bit aprehensive about the Varghulf and it too probably wouldn't be a wiz either. Clarification/Interpretations please?
