Ok, I've got 2 questions that i would love to have answers for. They have nothing to do with each other so don't feel bad if you can answer one but not the other.

1) I saw someone post a while ago showing a Chaos Lord who was mutated just for looks. He had used Scything Talons as a spider leg style of thing. I want to make a squad of mutated Havocs with the spider legs. Just a pretty idea because i hate spiders and the idea of spiders with flamers, melta's, and missile launchers scare the hell out of me. So, down to the question itself. The legs are too big for a small base. Can i go baseless with it? Or, is there a method for making it work? Pics will be uploaded later if it matters. Otherwise i just want to know what are the rules for going baseless? The spider legs would fit on a terminator base but i feel like that's not the correct answer.

tl:dr

I've got mini's i home made from bitz. They don't fit on a small base due to width of legs. What do i do?

2) I was lurking around and saw someone posting about the Nurgle Plague Tower and filling it with Obilts. Is this possible? The idea of 10 additional lascannon shots pouring out of that thing a turn just seems amazing. The thing is i thought that Obilts couldn't ride in transports. I read a lot of things online about people putting oblits in their plague tower. No one seems to complain about it and i'm not complaining. I just don't want to bring it to my local game store and be wrong. I hate being wrong. It makes me feel like an ass.

tl:dr

Can Oblits ride in a Nurgle Plague Tower?

Thank you everyone. I hope to hear from people soon.

1) you must base models on the bases they come with, so it more than likely will not be allowed in a tournament and you need permission for a friendly game.

2) don't know anything about the nurgle plague tower sorry, but as a rule of thumb if the vehicles entry doesn't say you can then you cannot.

Plague towers are superheavies, and can transport units normally not allowed into transports. See the apoc rulebook, back pages...
