Great conversion, Alaindassen. Is that the barrel from the Hellcannon? It looks perfect in the Russ hull. I may have to steal this idea...

Looks Great.

I personally would make the banner a dark red then wash with black to keep it shaded correctly.

No offense but IMO painting the banner red will make this excellent conversion look like a decayed mantidore...

I'd save the reds for washes and highlight and use either a gray(highlighting up and washing) or a brown (highlighting up to Bleached Bone and washing with Devilin Mud or Gryphonne Sepia) for the banner (with appropriate Nurgle markings added of course)..
I'd also insure a lot of rusted worn areas be added,it will really make this model come together nicely..

Fantastic conversion...I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

I think the green's would benefit greatly for some different shades , or a wash in the least, right now they lack definition as a whole - A nice base coat, but not as the finished deal.

The four washes I used most on my Death Guard were Devilin Mud,Gryphonne Sepia,Baal Red and a watered down brown ink wash...(all for different areas /aplications mind you).

For an overall wash,Devilin mud is always good...but I'd compliment it with hitting certian areas (around door hatches,coils,bolts..etc) with very small aplications of watered down brown inks.

For rust effects,I use Dark Flesh as a base coat and then mix in a bit of blazing orange for highlights, followed by pure blazing orange for stippling (very lightly...akin to light drybrushing)...I would apply the rust effects to the areas around the door hatches, joins on armour plates..larger bolts..rear engine screen...banding on the canon...and the tank treads themselves..

For the "flesh areas" I'd drybrush up with a mix of bleached bone and rotten flesh or elf flesh (very lightly) followed by a light wash with baal red (again very lighty)....this will help your "large areas of decay" stand out from the rest of the tank...

Now,I would strongly advise getting an old test mini and playing around with these techniqiues before going strait for doing them on your tank...just so your sure you'll like the end results before you apply them to your model.

Solid advise, I prefer brosn rather than dark flesh for my rusts, and build up to reds/oranges, but everything is good.

Also reference pictures for rust and anything else really also help massively, in terms of placement and sometimes even colour effect. My Reference and cool stuff folder is jam packed with ideas and pictures.

Looking good man...

A bit of rust effects and you should be basicly squared away..

I'd also try a bit of variant highlights and washes on the "coils" near the bottom front of the tank...

Very nice work.

Ahh...sorry...I'll attempt to keep that in mind..

The mesh area covering the engine on the back of the tank on top and the area around it could benifit from a rust effect..(Painting it in dark browns and highlihting up using blazing orange then washing with brown ink or Devilin Mud)
The same effects could be used on the air vents and Larger bolts...just to add some extra contrast..

I'll attempt to copy some of you pictures and show you what I mean a bit later...

All of my Death Guard Lords/Sorcerer's are made from Chaos Terminators (Lords) and my DPs and GUO are a combination of spawn,Gs and various Scratch builds and bits.

What sort of Lord are you trying to build?

I always thought a Plague Comisar would look cool.

comisar is indeed a good idea and a challenge to convert.

think ill make my dread a close combad one so i have my lord and 5 close combad termies + dread together.
