This is my general 1000 points list

I like it, except that you took bodyguards instead of filling out your Elites with crisis suits first.

I know you want targetting arrays, but those bodyguards are 20 points more than your other crisis suits...

I don't think 20 points justifies +1 bs.

IMO if you want fireknives I think they are best taken as bodgaurd/hq otherwise they are too inaccurate to be worth it (unless you have plenty of markerlight support).

I'm not sold on the AFP however, that would probably be the only thing in the list I would consider changing. Is there a reason for it that I am missing?

Generally play against orks and nids, and the no cover save can be quite good

A Flamer might be a more economic solution for that, I like to take them on some of my deathrains instead of the TA.

Having said that, I very, very rarley play those races, so I'm kinda speaking from ignorance. Either way I like the list if you think AFP is a better choice.

Also play against Guard which are normally quite a problem with 4+ cover saves every where
