Okay here are some pics for you all to look at. I still need to do the eyes, nails, and teeth of the grots. I have some ammo runts and additional crew members but I haven't painted them yet. I should be able to start on them tomorrow.

These gunz were made from Trukks and random bitz.

Let me know what you think!

Here is a link to the gallery if anyone wants to throw down a few votes! \

Thanks! What did you think of the cupcakes and oven mitten in the second to last pic? The fluff behind it is, he was sent from the kitchens to the gun line. In our military there has always been thiss thing about KP duty, i figured for Orks, the gun line was worse!

Yeah tell me about it. I used a looted Trygon for a Deff Dread awhile back. Orks are great!

I tried fielding these Sunday in a game. I had to play dawn of war, so they had to move off the table edge, (that sucked). However by the end of the game I still had like 4 or 5 left over. Ammo runts are great!

They look good, but I've got to ask - how many trukk kits did you end up cannibalizing for these things?

thought the muffins were hilarious. Depending on how bad a cook the Grot is, they might even be useful as extra ammunition!

Also, might be able to have a house rule about the Oven Mit. "Oven Mit +5 pts. May take a 4+ armour save against one Gets Hot! roll on the Zzap gun"
For when you go higher than 10 on the Str.

Might want to look at the one Zzap gun that looks like a Canon. Maybe swap it with the smaller Lobba? And I think drilling the barrels on the two or three gun minis might be a good idea to match them to the rest.

GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

If yer an Ork, why dont ya WAAAGH!!

Yeah, I was thinking the same. I didn't have anything else to use. You know what is bad? I had three zap cannons, 3 kannons, and 3 lobbas, from the Deff Rolla Sprues. However I used them on 9 more custom Big Gunz that I made for a friend of mine. I am thinking that if I get another deff rolla sprue, I might change out a few bitz, especially that one zap cannon. That cannon and the three kannons were off of some 12 inch G. I. joe figures. I got the weapons at the flea market for $0.10 each.

The drilling, are you referring to the grot gunz or the metal kannon and the old las cannon?

The proposed house rule sounds awesome. It actually goes with the fluff some, since the grots have to hold down the trigger of the zap gun for a long time. I might model a grot up with some of those yellow plastic mits as well.

3 Trukks. That adds up to $99.00. The old horrible looking big Gunz run $22.00 each. So by butchering the Trukks, I saved $99.00! Pretty Sweet deal huh?
