Is there a quick guide somewhere to the additional rules Hordes has on top of Warmachines, or do I just need to plow through the whole book?

The quick start rules cover pretty much all the differences.

Hordes only really differs from Warmachine in terms of FURY rather than FOCUS, and how it effects warbeast handling. Other than that- its all the same and just works off the units abilities as laid out on thier cards

If you start playing one- the other seems a bit weird. I know how to manage focus, but Fury is still sort of a grey area lol

As the previous posts tell there are only around 10 to 15 pages of new rules in Hordes rulebook compared to the Warmachine rulebook. The fury mechanic is the only difference between the systems.
