Mage sure that Lvl 2 takes The Enfeebling Foe as one of his spells. That combined with Dwellers is a unit killer.

Yeah that's what I meant instead of Withering. That gives me a Str and an Ini test spell.

How are you deciding what spells the Lvl2 gets before the game?


the 1st preliminary game also severly hits Teclis armies.

especially spells that need to have a target.

There are actually a lot more powerful armies than High Elves with Teclis. For example, Daemons of Chaos and Warriors of Chaos are going to be great in the 'Ard Boyz Scenario's. If Teclis wouldn't be in the High Elves book, noone would be bringing High Elves to the 'Ard Boyz tournament.

I just played the first scenario in a practice game with my Teclis army and I didn't feel hindered. I played against WoC. Also, if a spell doesn't require line of sight, it's not going to be affected by the restricted vision.

Taking into consideration what was said, I have made a few changes. Core is last because I want a bit more feedback on some possible setups.

Teclis- Life {475} (I am considering both the combination of Life/Shadow and Death/Shadow, I will play a few games with both)

Mage- Lv2, Seerstaff, Shadow, (Enfeebling Foe, Pit) {165}
Noble- BSB, BotWD, HA, Shield {176}
Noble- GW, DA, Shield, Eagle Mount, Guardian Phoenix, Helm of Fortune{201} (This gives me a 2+,5++)

21xWhite Lions, FC, Ruby Ring of Ruin, Banner of Sorcery {420}
21xSword Masters, FC, Str Pot, Banner of Ellyrian {380}
2xWhite Lion Chariots {280}

3xGreat Eagles {150}

Core Option 1 (original)

**Edit- Another thing I am considering is dropping the Banner of Ellyrian in place for The Amulet of Light on the Lv2, giving one of my units Magical attacks. Not sure if it is worth it though, as I have yet to run into Etherial's in my local Meta.
