I could've sworn there was some rule about not being able to reroll a die that you already rerolled. But looking through the BRB, I'm not seeing anything like that.
Am I remembering a rule from 4th or 3rd? Some other game? Am I just plain wrong?

Obviously you can't, say, reroll a miss due to double Scything Talons and then reroll it again when it misses again. But what about a model with both Preferred Enemy and paired Scything Talons? Or half of the GK characters when fighting daemons with their Master Crafted weapons? Or bosspole/herd squig Morale rerolls?

Page 2 - Rerolls. You can't reroll more than once, no matter the source of the reroll.

Yes - you can only ever re-roll 'to hit' dice once.

This applies to everything unless specifically stated in a special rule.

Obscenely high skill stats are not re-rolls, they are rolls that score above and beyond the ability of a D6 to roll.

And in regards to the twin-linked rule, please read the entire rule before paraphrasing it. Later in the rule, it states that you don't get more shots, just a better chance of hitting.

Long story short, people, please read the rules... your answers lie within...

Agreed. A model with BS6+ and TL cannot roll more than twice.

So, if you roll a 1 on your initial to-hit, you can either use TL to re-roll for a 2+ or use the BS6+ ability to aim for something worse. (Hint: If you want to hit, go for the 2+)

Solofalcon - through the snide remarks, it appears you are stuck in 4th edition. 5th edition clearly states that BS6+ grant a reroll. A BS6+ unit with a TL weapon could only select one reroll (which, unless they are BS10, will always have better odds on the TL reroll)
