Here is a shot at a 2000 point fun list for a pure GK army. I have no intentions of ever taking this army to a competitive tournament (might take it to a local one). I am avoiding psyfleman dreads on purpose (not because I think they are bad, but more because it will / is becoming cookie cutter).

HQ

Grandmaster ---- 175

Troops

10 * Strike Squad --- 240
2 psycannons
psybolts

10 * Strike Squad --- 280
2 psycannons

rhino

Elites

5 * Paladins --- 410
apothecary
hammer and psycannon
warding stave
halberd
halberd and psycannon

Fast Attack

Stormraven --- 205
MM/AC

Heavy Support

Dreadknight --- 205
Personal Teleporter

Thinking about swithching out one of the strike squads for purifiers.

Use grand strategy to scout the dreadknight and shunt punch and if my D3 roll was ok, scout rhino's to midfield to get ready to lay down psycannon fire. Paladins in one Raven and either the 3rd strike squad or purifiers in the other raven. GM joins one of the squads.

I did manage to get a game in yesterday with a slightly different list. I did use the same paladin loadout. Though they never got to combat, they were dropping 8 psycannon shots a turn which made a mess of my opponents tanks and infantry.

Hmmm I feel that the strike squads can be safer with a daemonhammer at least. Maybe drop the warding staff for some

There is only that one warding stave. I don't plan on sitting back with the Ravens and would be in MM range fast. I may playtest with LC's and see how it goes. Thanks for the comments guys.

What do you guys think about swapping out a strike squad for a purifier squad?
